Football Match Predictions Contest

1. Organizer and Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the football predictions game offered through the Football Championship application, organized by Ballston BID and provided by Darwoft.
The Game is a recreational activity created for the Ballston community to enjoy together while watching the Football World Championship 2026 matches. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected in any way to the organizers of the Football World Championship 2026 or any official football governing body.
2. No Commercial or Financial Benefit to the Organizer
This game is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or in any way officially associated with the organizers, governing bodies, sponsors, broadcasters, teams, or players of the football tournament being watched during this community event, nor with any of their trademarks, logos, names, or official marks.
Any team names, country names, or general references to matches used within the App are used solely for descriptive and informational purposes, to identify which match a prediction refers to, and do not imply any endorsement, license, or commercial relationship with any third party, including but not limited to sports federations, leagues, or tournament organizers.
This Game is a private, non-commercial, recreational activity created exclusively for the Ballston community attending this event, and is not open to the general public as an official promotion of any tournament, broadcaster, or sponsor.3. No Payment or Purchase Necessary
Participation in the Game is completely free. Users are never asked to pay, deposit, or purchase anything, either to register, to participate, or to receive a prize. There are no in-app purchases and no exchange of money within the App.
4. Registration and Account Verification
To participate, Users must create an account in the App using only their name and email address. No other personal information is requested or required.
After entering their email, Users receive a verification code by email.
Once the code is validated, the account is active and the User can log in and play.
5. How the Game Works
Once logged in, Users can submit predictions live for each match, including (but not limited to):
Which team will win the match.
How many total goals will be scored.
Which player/team will score first.
Predictions are placed using points only — there are no coins, credits, or any form of virtual or real currency involved. Correct predictions earn Users points, and total points determine each User's position on the leaderboard.
6. Prizes
There are two matches included in the Game, each with its own set of prizes and winners:
Match 1 — July 14, 2026
1st place: $100 USD gift card
2nd place: $50 USD gift card
3rd place: $25 USD gift card
Match 2 — July 15, 2026
1st place: $100 USD gift card
2nd place: $50 USD gift card
3rd place: $25 USD gift card
This makes a total of 6 prizes across both matches. Winners are determined by their ranking on the leaderboard for each match, based on points earned from correct predictions.
Winners will be contacted via the email address registered in the App after each match concludes, in order to coordinate delivery of their prize.
7. Personal Data and Privacy
The Organizer only collects the User's name and email address, used exclusively for:
Verifying the User's account.
Enabling login and participation in the Game.
Contacting winners to deliver prizes.
Sending Game-related communications (e.g., results, updates to these Terms).
No other personal, financial, or identification data is requested or stored. Data will not be sold to third parties and is used solely for the purposes described above.
8. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Each individual may only maintain one (1) active account.
9. Prohibited Conduct
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any user who creates multiple accounts, uses automated tools to submit predictions, or otherwise attempts to manipulate the leaderboard.
10. Modifications
The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms, the prediction mechanics, or the prize structure at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users through the App or via their registered email.
11. Acceptance
By registering and participating in the Game, the User confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
