ARLINGTON, VA – Arlington Economic Development, the Ballston Business Improvement District (BID), and Darwoft have partnered to host the Healthcare AI Forum, a premier event bringing together top medical professionals, healthcare leaders, and entrepreneurs to explore the next generation of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools. The event will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m. at Arlington Economic Development.

As artificial intelligence reaches a pivotal moment in the healthcare industry, the forum is dedicated to discussing both the transformative role of AI in medicine and the continuing challenges associated with its implementation. The gathering will highlight how AI toolsets are currently being utilized for diagnostic assistance, patient documentation, while exploring what is needed to make these tools more accessible and useful for the next generation of health professionals to achieve better patient outcomes.

Expert Panel and Speakers The event will feature a highly anticipated panel discussion, showcasing leading experts in AI and medicine:

• Dr. David Patric Werner Rastall: A physician-scientist, neurologist, and senior research fellow at Johns Hopkins whose work is heavily focused on machine learning in healthcare.

• Dr. Skye Donovan: Dean of the College of Health and Education at Marymount University and Vice President of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Dr. Donovan brings specialized expertise in AI within rehabilitation medicine and serves on the APTA AI taskforce.
